Hiroshi Osaki joined Yoshimoto Kogyo in April 1978 and proceeded to become the talent manager for countless Yoshimoto talent. In 1986, he established the “Shinsaibashi 2-Chome Theater” as a producer and helped many famous talents achieve stardom from this theater. In 1997, he was promoted to head the content business in the Tokyo Office as the Chief Producer. He was instrumental in establishing various key new businesses for Yoshimoto including music, sport management and digital content businesses. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Yoshimoto in 2001, the Executive Managing Director in 2005, Vice President and Director in 2006, Executive Vice President and Representative Director in 2007 and Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director in 2009. In addition to his duties at Yoshimoto, Osaki also serves as the Chairman of Kyoraku Yoshimoto Holdings Co., Ltd., a joint venture company created by Yoshimoto and Kyoraku Industries Co., Ltd. in December 2008.
