Tetsuya is a frequent speaker on marketing and PR innovation and an author of several popular business books which have sold more than 100,000 copies and ranked consistently among Amazon Japan’s best sellers. His seventh, “Stop Fooling Yourself: Advertising and Mass Media Don’t Move People Anymore” became Japan’s number-one advertising book in 2014.



In 2015, Tetsuya was named PRWEEK ASIA PACIFIC’s “PR Professional of the Year”. He spoke at the 2015 Cannes festival about “Opening the Kimono on Killer Japanese Creativity” and in 2016 at its Creative Academy. He served as a PR jury at the Cannes Lions 2017.
