Atsushi Iwashita

As Managing Director of Facebook Japan, Atsushi Iwashita is responsible for promoting business development strategy in Japan and duties related to planning and sales, marketing, business development.
rior to joining Facebook, Atsushi was the CEO of Interbrand Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of the brand consulting firm, Interbrand. Since taking that position in 2010, he was instrumental in growing the company into a full-service brand consultancy.

Becky Saeger

Becky Saeger is a respected executive and veteran CMO with over 25 years experience leading and advising businesses and brands.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Charles Schwab, Becky revitalized the Schwab brand and was the architect of the integrated "Talk to Chuck" brand platform. She was responsible for all of Schwab's marketing, driving growth through a period of unprecedented challenges in the financial services industry. In 2010 she was honored as Advertising Woman of the Year by the Advertising Women of New York and named one of the Most Influential Women in Business by the San Francisco Business Times.
Before joining Schwab, Becky was EVP Marketing for Visa USA, where she led brand strategy and all of Visa's advertising, promotions, digital and direct marketing, sponsorship marketing and Visa Marketing Consulting for member banks (1997-2004). She was accountable for complex brand and business alliances with banks, merchants, co-branding partners and sponsored properties such as the Olympics and Disney. While Becky was head of marketing, Visa was inducted into the American Marketing Association Marketing Hall of Fame.
Prior to Visa, she was Senior Vice President and Director of Account Management at Foote, Cone & Belding San Francisco. Launching her career at Ogilvy & Mather New York, Becky was responsible for the award-winning campaigns "Do You Know Me," "Membership has its Privileges" and "Portraits" for client American Express. She led the global implementation of these campaigns as well as efforts for Unilever's Surf and Dove brands, and has won more than a dozen EFFIE awards and the Advertising Research Foundation's Grand Ogilvy Award during her career.
Becky currently serves on the board of directors of E*Trade Financial Corporation. She is on the advisory boards of MarketShare, a leading marketing analytics firm, and Turn, a digital media technology leader headquartered in Silicon Valley. She also advises DailyWorth, a groundbreaking financial resource for women. A past board chair of the Association of National Advertisers, she is a charter member of the ANA's CMO Council. She serves on the board of ODC Dance and the marketing committee of the San Francisco Symphony.
Becky holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College; she has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and served at the Smithsonian Institution as a Wharton Public Policy Fellow. She was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in the United States, Italy, Germany and Iceland. Becky lives in San Francisco with her husband, photographer and writer Tom Graves.

Bill Mungovan

Bill Mungovan is director of product marketing and strategy for Advertising Solutions within Adobe's Digital Marketing Business. Mungovan brings a broad range of skills to his role based on more than 13 years in search marketing including strategic paid search, planning and executing, SEO and account management. He came to Adobe through its acquisition of Omniture in 2009. Prior to Omniture, Mungovan helped build the search engine marketing practice at Carat, working directly with major agency clients in exceeding their ROI and branding goals through search. He has shared his search expertise as an invited panelist at several industry events, including Search Engine Strategies, SMX, PubCon, Online Market World, WebMaster World, Search Insider Summit and OMMA West.

Bonin Bough

Bonin Bough is Vice President of Global Media and Consumer Engagement at Mondelēz International (formerly Kraft Foods).
In his role, he oversees all of Kraft's digital communications, establishes new partnerships with online platforms, manages internal capabilities and develops strategies across the firm's product portfolio.
He has over 10 years of experience in the space, ranging from digital strategic planning and project execution to leading and building global practices.
Prior to joining Kraft, he was Senior Global Director of Digital and Social Media at PepsiCo.
His focus was on developing digital strategy that crosses paid, earned, owned and shared media.

Brad Smallwood

Brad Smallwood leads Facebook's Measurement and Insights group, responsible for analyzing and optimizing the online and offline impact of Facebook's advertising. Smallwood works with the world's largest brands and agencies both to measure advertising effectiveness and to improve the relevance of ad campaigns to Facebook users. Advertisers on his team work with a range of clients from direct-response marketers interested in driving immediate consumer actions, to brand marketers looking to understand offline ROI as well as affect more long-term attitudinal changes in consumers (e.g. brand awareness metrics). In addition to ad effectiveness measurement, Smallwood oversees the day-to-day management of Facebook's worldwide ad inventory including pricing, inventory controls, and running of Facebook's marketplace.
Smallwood has over 20 years of experience developing and running both on and offline marketplaces. Prior to joining Facebook, he was General Manager of Yahoo's multi-billion dollar display advertising business. While there, he worked to introduce several third-party demand channels to help strengthen the industry-leading Yahoo marketplace, including the acquisition of Right Media. Prior to Yahoo, Smallwood worked at startups Namezero, AllAdvantage, and Revcube, where he developed a series of state-of-the-art ad targeting and ad serving techniques. These techniques include the first behavioral targeting system, along with an integrated platform for online campaign management across search, display, email, creative, and landing page optimization. Before this, Smallwood was one of the early innovators in the pricing space, developing and running the pricing and revenue management systems for a variety of industries including airlines, hotels, and shipping.

Deb Roy

Deb Roy is Twitter's Chief Media Scientist. Prior to Twitter, he co-founded and served as the founding CEO of Bluefin Labs, a social TV analytics company (acquired by Twitter in 2013). Deb is an Associate Professor at MIT and tenured member of the MIT faculty who directs cognitive science research at the MIT Media Lab. An author of over 100 academic papers in machine learning, cognitive modeling, and human-machine interaction, Deb is a frequent speaker at industry and academic events. His highly popular TED talk in 2011 presents his research on how his son learned his first words using the world's biggest home video collection, and how that research led to the creation of Bluefin Labs. A native of Canada, Deb received his bachelor of computer engineering from the University of Waterloo and his PhD in cognitive science from MIT.

Pat Hayes

Pat Hayes, Vice President for Microsoft's Global Search Display and Services, leads sales efforts for the Global SMB search marketplace, the deployment of Microsoft's Advertising Exchange, and delivery of service, support and operations for self-serve Display and all Search offerings for Microsoft and Yahoo!.
Prior to his current role, Pat spent three years in Japan as General Manager of Developer Platform & Evangelization and as General Manager, Office of the President, where he led the subsidiary efforts for Citizenship, Customer Partner Experience, and Privacy. He also managed the Readiness team, the Systems and Tools team, the Chief Technology Officer, Communications, and Business Planning for Microsoft Japan.
Pat founded and is the former General Manager of Microsoft's Seminar Sales Team which hosted more than 5,000 Technology seminars per year in the US. Pat and this series of events were highlighted in Bill Gates' book, Business at the Speed of Thought.

I joined the Kao Corporation in 1992, where I worked in the company’s laboratory until 1996. In my position at the lab, I was engaged in numerical simulation on a Unix machine and a Cray supercomputer. In addition, during the course of my service as a machine administrator, I encountered a field of Web servers and become a pioneer who set up the first Web server in the Kao Corporation.

Hiroko Hoshino has been the Financial Times' regional digital director since 2006. In January 2007, her role was augmented to include responsibilities as the FT's corporate representative in Japan. Based in Tokyo, she heads the FT office in Japan and oversees FT.com advertising sales and online business activities across Asia.
Prior to this position, Hiroko worked in print and online advertising sales at the FT in Japan. In 2001 I was responsible for building awareness of Dyson products as well as the Dyson brand in Japan. I have been involved in the launch of DC12; a vacuum cleaner designed specifically for Japan in 2004 and the launch of our bladeless fan Air Multiplier products in 2009, in addition to numerous other product launch events. My main objective has been to introduce Dyson as an innovative technology company to the Japan market. We also try to encourage the young generation to be interested in becoming engineers through the James Dyson Foundation which was set up in 2006.
